(Pic 1)Shutters not Shots: Taken in a small village in the outskirts of Abuja. Shows sisters living in a moment of uncertainty and I offered to take a picture but the older sister had already learned something no child should have to as I raised my “weapon” to their face and the sounds of the shutter on my NIKON D5300 DLSR camera shook her but she immediately holds her younger sister’s hand with courage, that courage isn’t always loud. Sometimes it is simply holding a smaller hand tightly enough to say, “As long as I’m here, you’re not alone.”
(Pic 2)Humble Royal Colors: Taken as two high ranking royals of the Emirates of The Kano Empire bow in honor to exchange felicitous love and respect, you do not have to see their faces but their noble attires bending to the will of humility in man will captivate you.
