The design depicts the general consensus of AI, that is slowly becoming a reality for many creatives. The consensus is “AI ID RIDDING US OF OUR ABILITY TO CREATE”.
I highlighted four important things:
1. A brain belonging to a creative. The brain is active and bright, still firing as it should.
2. The dependence on AI, shown in the dark, glitchy background.
3. Loss of creative autonomy, depicted by the hand over the brain, representing an inability to function creatively, and a reliance on the quickness of AI tools etc.
4. The unseen damage, represented by the red streaks of lightning that are concentrated in the middle of the brain and appear to be subtly splitting it in two, showing a complete destruction of human creativity.
The design shows the gradual decay of a creative who is overly dependent on the quick fix AI provides, which leads to a loss of creative identity.
